Time Will Tell

Ever since our oldest grandson was able to sit up, he has been fascinated with my jewelry and he still is. He tends to take my hand, touch a ring and look at it from all angles, or closely examines my necklace.

It may not mean anything, but him being so interested in precious metals and knowing how much he loves to be outdoors, explore and discover new things, it could well be that one day he might be drilling and/or sampling a platinum group metals mine as a profession.

I can picture him having a blast doing something like that; the excitement and anticipation of bringing to light what lies beneath the surface would be present with every new sample that comes up, literally and figuratively speaking, and is being tested.

He might have to do some traveling, but I don't think he would mind that either; it would certainly appeal to and satisfy his appetite for adventure and also give him the opportunity to see and explore some of the world.

One thing is for sure; he would not be without a job anytime soon, because there is a constant demand for platinum and other precious metals for both private as well as industrial uses and applications.

We will wait and see what he ends up doing. Time will tell!
