Backpacking

March 16, 2024.

Bella’s troop is going backpacking. The initial plan was to do an overnighter, but the weather was going to be pretty bad Saturday night and Sunday. They decide to just make a day out of it now.

The temperature is perfect for all the walking they do. They encounter several baby turtles in the woods and get to hold them.

They are having fun, although it is getting pretty sweaty hauling a backpack around all the time. Bella’s red face speaks volumes during the break. lol.

It is late afternoon when they return home. 

Aunt A.’s hips and Bella’s back are hurting a little from all the walking, but they truly enjoyed the trip. I suppose the saying is true.

No pain, no gain! Grin.
