Comfofo
Date of occurrence:
January 6, 2016.
Bell, Emmaly, Leo, and Kc are all spending the night with us. We picked the first three up early this afternoon and Kc joined the trio after school.
While we are having supper, we are talking about how cold it is going to be that night. It will be below freezing and I tell them, if they like, they can keep their socks on in bed.
Emmaly: "Keep my socks on in bed? I never do that."
Kc: "I do sometimes and then I am so nice and comfortable."
Bell picks up on the last word: "Comfofo?"
Emmaly laughs: "Bell says comfofo." She turns to Isabella and clearly pronounces the word 'com-for-ta-ble'.
Bell keeps referring to it as comfofo. She is tickled pink when everyone laughs and says it as often as she can.
Bell: "Emma, you comfofo? Leo, you comfofo? Kc, you comfofo? Aunt A., you comfofo? Opa! Opa, you comfofo?"
She has turned it into a game and guess what?
We are comfofo with that! Grin.
