The Little Trooper

Date of occurrence:
February 1, 2019.

Londyn has her first check up today.

We pick her and her Mom up and head to the doctor's office.

The doctor examines, measures, and weighs her.

She is doing well, is 18 and a half inches tall, and puts 5 lbs 12.5 oz on the scales.

There is one more thing left to check and that requires the nurse to prick Londyn's heel.

The nurse gets everything ready. She takes Londyn's little foot and pricks her heel.

It is quiet for about two seconds and then Londyn lets out a high scream. She cries for the shortest time and goes back to being her content self.

The nurse is not nearly finished, but that doesn't seem to bother our little girl. She just looks around and lets it happen.

We are all impressed, but also glad it is over and time to go.

Our little trooper can go home again!
