Showing Off

April 28, 2020.

Our youngest daughter finally has a good, working vehicle which will carry all of her kids. She is eager to show it off, along with our three week old granddaughter Sophia, whom we haven't seen up close and personal since she was born.

She pulls in our driveway and opens the doors. All the girls came with her and we are happy to see Bell, Lily, Londyn, and... little Sophia.

Mom takes her out of the car and sets the car seat about six feet away from us. Sophia is sleeping and I have to withhold myself from going over to her. Oh, what a torture being able to see but not touch.

Bell and Lily jump out of the van and I have to stop them from coming too close. Bell is disappointed not being able to give us a hug. Lily crawls back in the van and starts playing with Londyn.

We admire the van and the baby and are grateful we at least got to see all of them. Hopefully this Corona virus is over soon and/or a vaccine is found quickly. It seems like it may still take a few more months before that happens.

At least we got to see them! :-D
