April Fools Day

April 1, 2021.

Kc has been looking forward to April Fools Day. He tells us to prank him, but won’t believe anything we say. I decide to get him.

He loves chicken nuggets, but they are out at home. I ask him if he would like some. Of course he does and I tell him I will order some, including a milkshake, and have it delivered at his door.

Around 10:30 am he calls to ask if I ordered it, since his lunch break is coming up.

I laugh and inform him it is an April Fools joke.

He laughs, but is quite disappointed.

He looks on his phone at certain fast food restaurants and is thinking about ordering it himself. He decides against it and deletes whatever he has in the cart.

Meanwhile, Opa is telling Kc’s Mom about the prank and they both feel sorry for him. We decide to get it anyway. Mom will order it and we will pay for it.

Half an hour later Kc calls, nuggets and milkshake in his hands. He is a little shook up. There was a knock on the door. He opened, got his food, and got really scared. He thought that instead of deleting the stuff in his cart, he accidentally ordered it.

He gets really terrified when his Mom calls right after he received the food. He figures he is in big trouble. I can only imagine how relieved he was when he heard it was legit and all good.

I can’t stop laughing when he tells me about it. He pranked himself good.

April Fools! Grin.
