First Shave

June 21, 2021.

Leo and Emmaly arrived on Father’s Day.

I noticed Leo had a small cut on his upper lip.

Me: “What happened to your face?”

Leo: "I nicked myself shaving."

Me: "you are already shaving?"

Leo: "Yup. Every three days i have to shave."

I look at Kc and ask him why his younger brother is shaving and he isn’t.

Kc’s mustache has been dominating his appearance for a while now. His reply is: “Mama won’t let me.”

Today, he FaceTimes us and asks if we see a difference.

Yes, we do.

His mustache is gone.

So are the sporadic hairs under his lower lip and on his chin.

What a major difference thIs first shave makes!
