Happy Thanksgiving!
Date of occurrence:
November 25, 2021.
Our youngest daughter has been organizing a wedding and is finally finished, but exhausted. She doesn’t have the energy and gumption to do Thanksgiving, but doesn’t want the kids to miss out. Londyn and Kc will celebrate it with us, while the rest will go to their other grandmas.
Kc has already been here this week.
Londyn is coming with aunt A.
She is so cute. She greets us with a huge smile and a hug.
We have a little surprise for her.
It is a babydoll in a carrier.
She loves it and I ask what the doll’s name is.
Londyn doesn’t know.
Opa: “It’s Frederico!”.
Londyn: "No. Not Rico".
Opa: "It is Frederico".
Londyn: "No! Not Rico. Rico is scary!"
She goes around telling everyone Rico is scary and whispers that he is in the house. She is playing and we all play along until dinner is ready. When everyone has their fill, she goes down for a nap.
Not long after she wakes up, her mom, Sophia, and J. stop by.
The girls play for a bit.
I fix a ‘to go’ bag full of food for them to take.
And it is time to go home.
We hope to see them again soon.
It was so much fun! :-D
