Let Them Have Fun

Date of occurrence:
August 5, 2022.

Out youngest daughter had a luminous idea. She took some old furniture pieces and  turned them into a play kitchen for the girls.

An old nightstand turned into an oven (with painted burners and all), another cabinet turned into a kitchen sink and an old standing jewelry box is now the pantry.

It’s not entirely finished yet. It still needs some paint, shelves, backsplash, etc. it is getting there though and can already be played with.

She suggested to get the girls play food for Christmas, but that is still long ways away. Let’s spoil them. We are the grandparents after all. Grin.

So, we ordered them some ‘food’.

It will be there in a couple of days.

And we let our daughter know the following:

Me: “We didn’t want to wait so long. You did such an amazing job and we got the kids each a set, so they can enjoy it immediately. 😊”

Her response: “Awwwwww!!! That’s super sweet! Thank y’all!!! That’s perfect, cuz ever since it looked like a stove, Londyn has been saying “but where’s the FOOD mama?” Lol .”

Me: “Lol. Tell her store delivery is set for Sunday. Haha.”

Daughter: “She is gonna be SOoooo excited!”

Good. That’s the whole intend.

Let them have fun!
