Snow? Snow!!

Date of occurrence:
January 21, 2025.

It is snowing, and not just a light dusting that’s gone within a hour. We are experiencing near blizzard conditions. Snow is accumulating by the hour, accompanied by wind and freezing temperatures.

That is super rare here at the Gulf coast. They state that this is an historic event. This hasn’t happened in over 50 years!

Schools, bridges, and some roads are closed. Kc is staying with us, Sophia is at her Dads, and Bella is still staying with a friend. Both girls are not intimidated by the snow and dive right in.

All the kids see snow for the first time in their lives and… they are loving it.

Lily and Londyn are at home. All bundled up, they throw snowballs and excitedly run around. We ask them to build a snowman. Londyn doesn’t know how to do that and asks her mom for instructions.

It is so good to see them have fun in the snow, even if it’s not for long. It is way too cold. Maybe the snowman will make an appearance later today, because it will continue snowing almost all day.

Let it snow. We enjoy it! ☃️
