Blanketed In Comfort

For the birth of our first grandson, we received a present in the form of a hand-made blanket from one of our friends, who is very accomplished in quilting. This gift was not only treasured due to all the work and dedication that went into it, but also because it was very welcome.

From experience I know that having more then one baby blanket is a must. Most parents find that out when the need arises, but when it comes to linens, towels, blankets, etc., the advice that was given to me to ensure to have at least three; one for use, one in the laundry and one in the closet, was invaluable.

It may not have crossed your mind, but a personalized baby blanket will be highly appreciated and will always bring back fond and cherished memories. You may want to take into consideration giving several; one for the warmer and another one for the colder season.

The choice in those blankets is enormous and ranges from receiving blankets to blankets for special occasions. We made good use of a swaddling baby blanket after our granddaughter had been born and was staying over for a few nights. It made her feel safe and she slept a whole lot better and sounder when wrapped up all cozy and comfy.

And when she did, so did we!
