Thinking Ahead

May 16, 2012.
We got to talk to our other grandchildren for a little bit and Emmaly was all excited to tell us about a new purse she got while she was on a trip which was organized by her daddy's work. Since the boys had to attend school, they didn't get to go, but they got walkie-talkies and had made good use of them already.
It is odd noticing the mood swings those little ones go through so fast. Take kc for instance; one moment, he is on the phone and starts crying because the dog playfully bit his foot and the next moment he proudly announces what a great job he is doing at school by holding the doors open letting everyone out.
He sure is growing up fast and is already thinking about the truck he is going to buy when he is old enough. He said he was going to get a white truck which prodded the question on my part as to what happened to the yellow truck. His answer struck me as very wise and very mature and made me smile: "I was thinking about a white one".
He definitely is thinking ahead!

They are growing up fast, way too fast. Little Kc lost his first tooth last week. Can you imagine??? Time sure flies!
