A Big Ole Mess

Now that Sinterklaas has arrived and is already making the rounds at night, Levi and Daley don't want to miss out on staying on his good side.

They have worked hard all year to be at their best behavior and sure don't want to mess it up at the last minute.

The best way to keep the Sint in a good mood is putting out a shoe filled with goodies for his horse.

Apples and carrots are highly appreciated by both Sinterklaas and his four-legged means of transportation.

It fuels the horse which allows it to carry the good, holy man from rooftop to rooftop.

So, last evening out came the shoes, in went the edibles for the horse, and then began the waiting and hoping he would make it to Levi and Daley's house overnight.

After a good night sleep, everyone wakes up and is excited to see if Sinterklaas came by and exchanged the food for some gifts.

Low and behold, he did. He left some presents in the shoes and the horse ate all the apples.

There is something else he left as well.

A big ole mess!
