Outstanding!

February 18, 2017.

Kc is excited. Today is the Scout Pinewood Derby Car Race and he is going for the win. We can't blame him.

He worked hard on his car.

Yes, he did it practically all by himself.

He took this block of wood outside and started carving.



When he came back in, he had transformed it into the shape he wanted.



He sanded it, picked the color scheme and started painting his car.



He wanted flames on his car, but didn't trust himself enough to get it accomplished. So, the detailing was left to me.



It got wheels and weights were added to suit the requirements.

The end-product looked pretty sharp.

We hoped it would do well.

And it did.

Kc won 3rd place with his very first, self-made car and came home with a trophy.
