The Crunch Lunch

Date of occurrence:
January 11, 2017.

We pick Kc up from school and the first thing he shows us is a tiny, yellow treasure chest. The contents is soon known: it is his first molar which came out while he was eating lunch.

He shows us the gap it left in his mouth.

The new, permanent molar is already present.

Kc told us he was eating lunch and while chewing on some peaches, he suddenly felt some pain and a huge crunch.

His molar had decided to vacate the premises and literally left its owner with a bloody mess.

Kc saw the school nurse. She gave him some tissues to stop the bleeding and put his molar in the treasure chest for keepsake.

Wow, that came out of the blue and since more will follow in the future, we warned Kc ahead of time.

He could expect more crunch lunches!
