Work Of Art

As I am folding the laundry, Emmaly spots the box of sidewalk chalk sitting on a shelf.
Emmaly: "Can we play with that?"
Me, having visions of artwork on house, outdoor furniture, and play set: "Sure, but only use it on the patio. Nowhere else!"
Emmaly: "We won't. Bell, Bella, come. We can play outside with chalk."
Excited and armed with the chalk they go outside.
I don't expect them to stay out long. It is pretty hot outside, but that doesn't seem to bother the girls.
They draw a little, play a little, and draw some more.
When I take a peek, I am pleasantly surprised by their combined effort.
They made a work of art!
