Fall Fest

November 3, 2017.

It is Fall Fest at school and Kc's class is going to enjoy it from noon until 2. We make sure I am there a few minutes before he enters the gym.

There is not very much for the kids to do this year. A nail polish and face paint table, ring toss, air jumps, and an occasional raffle dance for a treat. Kc starts out by having an emoticon painted on his face.

He goes outside to jump some, comes back in for the raffle dance, gets a drink and some popcorn and decides he is going to find his girlfriends.

I am seriously wondering how all those kids will occupy themselves for two hours. A lot of them end up in the playground, including Kc and his girlfriends. He plays with them for a bit and eventually says he is ready to go.

We sign him out with his teacher and walk to his class. The teacher had told the students if, or when they were going to have an early dismissal, to put their back packs in the hall.

As we turn into the hall where Kc's class is, I bust out laughing.
Kc: "What's so funny? Why are you laughing?"
Me: "Look at that. I have to take a picture of this."
Kc: "Take a picture of what?"
Me: "All those back packs in the hall. It's too funny."



Yup, no one is passing up an early dismissal! Grin.
