Last Derby Car Race

February 24, 2018.
Kc, aunt A., and I are off to the Cub Scout Pinewood Derby Car Race and our hopes are high. We weigh in, make some adjustments, and admire all the cars the other cub scouts created.
The time to race arrives. Since Kc is the only contestant in the AOL den, he automatically gets first place for his division. He will race with the Webelos den to find out if he qualifies for the overall pack trophy.
And... they forget to let him race with the Webelos. Uh oh, now they have to find a way to incorporate his car and the solution is to let Kc race against the top three of the Webelos den. He beats them with flying colors.
As the race continues, it is clear we have a winner. Kc's car comes out on top and our little man takes home the first place overall trophy. Well done. We are proud of and for him.
He came, he saw, he conquered!
