Beeping lights

November 21, 2018.

Kc has to be in the hospital for an Endoscopy and we have to be there by 7 am. It is still dark outside as we head that way, when Emmaly spots a light on top of the water tower.

Emmaly: "I see a beeping light on top of the water tower."
Opa: "A beeping light? I don't hear anything."
Emmaly: "No. It goes on and off."
Opa: "So, it's beeping huh? Can you smell it too?"
Emmaly: "I can't smell it. I am surrounded by the car."
Opa: "If you are surrounded by the car, than how can you hear it?"
Emmaly: "I can't. I just see it."
Me: "Oh, you mean it is a blinking light."

There is a little pause. Emmaly is clearly thinking about it. It doesn't take long before she replies.
Emmaly: "I see a flashing light!"

Well done, little girl. You are one smart cookie. We should have known. It clearly states that.
