Back From Camp

Date of occurrence:
June 15, 2019.

It is around 11:30 AM when the scouts return from camp. Leo, Emmaly, aunt A., and I are picking Kc up and we are so glad to have him back.

The first thing we notice is that Kc has his right wrist all wrapped up. It so turns out he sprained it the day before. He rode a bicycle, got his shoe lace caught in the gears, fell and sprained his wrist. It isn't bad though.

He had tons of fun and is mighty proud about his rifle shooting merit badge.

He did excellent.

He was chosen by his patrol to shoot in a marathon against the other troops and the staff.

He ended up as one of the best and even beat several of the staff members.

He is tired, hungry and dirty. The first thing he does is have lunch and takes a shower after that, before he and his siblings go shopping with aunt A. for Father's Day and his mom's Birthday.

They leave soon after and while aunt A. is out and about with the kids, she calls. The Boy Scout leader had sent her an email which was addressed to Kc. It read:

From: "Manny"
Date: June 15, 2019 at 3:08:01 PM CDT
To: "Aunt A."
Subject: Great Job Casey

Casey,
You did a great job at camp. You did everything asked of you and as always, your were very respectful. You are also a great rifleman! Great job at the Marathon.

Mr. Manny

That was good to hear and we are grateful he did so well at camp, but honestly...

We are glad to have him back! :-)
