Hard Head

Date of occurrence:
June 13, 2019.

We are watching a mermaid movie with Emmaly. Both Bell and Leo were not interested and Leo is playing on the Xbox in Kc's room, while Bell is keeping herself busy in the guest room.

All of a sudden, we hear a loud bang.

It is followed by an even louder cry.

I rush to Bell, but she is fine.

Leo on the other hand is not.

He is laying on the floor.

And he is crying his eyes out, while holding his head.

He manages to tell us that he sat down on the corner of the bed. He slipped off, fell, and hit his head on the edge of the windowsill.

He has got a huge bump on his head and we put some ice on it to try to keep it from swelling even more.

Eventually, Leo calms down and we can check him for a concussion. He is fine, but his head is still hurting. It probably will for a while.

It could have been worse though. We are thankful it isn't.

Having a hard head sometimes comes in handy!
