Camp Out

Date of occurrence:
July 16, 2021.

Our youngest is taking her 5 bigs on a vacation, while Londyn and Sophia will be spending time with their other grandparents.

They first go on a three day camping trip.

Mom has packed up anything and everything but the kitchen sink.

After setting up camp, they make an itinerary. 

Kc is tired and goes to sleep. 

He wakes up around 7 the other day.

So he thinks. Mom has to break the news to him that it is still the same day and 7 o’clock in the evening. We all have a good laugh about that.

Mom waits until dark to carry on a family tradition.

A visit to an old graveyard on the camp grounds.

They all enjoy it, except for Leo.

He is so scared.

It takes him ten minutes to get out of the car after getting back.

No sleep for him. He hears footsteps around the tent all night.

Lily got sick after eating a hotdog and emptied her tummy. Beside all this, all goes well and they all had fun.

They return back home for a day of rest, before packing up to go on the next trip to Hattiesburg.

Trip no. 1 is (rather successfully) completed!
