Decorating For Christmas

December 5, 2021.

Aunt A. is picking up Kc and Bella to help us set up the Christmas tree and adorn our house with decorations. Lily was supposed to come too, but she fell sick and still has a fever.

They get here around lunchtime and we eat before we get to the task at hand. We gather up our tree and decorations and, with so many helping hands, we are done in no time.

Kc does the honors of putting the finishing touch on top of the tree: the angel. It looks wonderful. We didn’t put up the tree last year due to Covid and no one coming to visit, but we sure missed it.

Aunt A. takes the kids to her house, where they set up her tree too. Well, Bella decided to play chess with Opa on the computer instead. 

It doesn’t matter. We all had fun and enjoyed the company and…

That’s the most important thing! :-)
