Hidden Talents

Date of occurrence:
January 17, 2022.

The day starts out well.

Mom cuts Lily’s hair and gives her bangs.

Londyn pays close attention.

As soon as her mom’s back is turned, she grabs her chance.

In this case it is the pair of scissors.

She cuts a little bit of her own hair. It’s not noticeable.

Sophia is next in line and Londyn decides to follow in her mom’s footsteps. She gives Sophia bangs as well.

Thank goodness, she left them pretty long and it’s not looking too bad at all.

I ask their mom where all the girls get their obsession with scissors and hair from. Lipstick, eyeshadow, and cutting hair are the top three and in that order.

Opa says that Londyn was showing her mom her hidden talents. Mom’s reply?

“They should have stayed hidden!”
