The Teleporter

Date of occurrence:
June 23, 2022.

We have all the 5 older grandkids over. Yes, we have quite a houseful and quickly a foodless fridge. The last is rectified in no time and as far as the kids go, they are no burden whatsoever.

As a matter of fact, it’s great to have their company. The ‘eat, sleep, play, and repeat’ goes for almost all of them. Leo, Emmaly and Bella are constantly in their rooms. Kc keeps us company in the living room and Lily’s time is divided between us and her sisters.

Both Lily and Kc are with me in the kitchen. Kc leaves and Lily suddenly makes the following remark:

Lily:"Kc is like an Enderman." (An enderman in Minecraft is a neutral mob found in all three dimensions. Endermen can teleport and pick up blocks).
Me:"An Enderman? Why do you say that?"
Lily:"Because he just teleported."
Me:"And where did he teleport to?"
She walks out of the kitchen, comes back and says:"To his room."

Hm, I don’t have to ask where Lily’s mind is. It sure isn’t in the present.

It teleported! Grin.
