The Bigs

June 16, 2023.

Kc has been over for a couple of days to do some chores for us. He cleaned out the driveway again and helped fix some other minor issues.

Aunt A. Picks up Leo, Emmaly, Bella, and Lily. The first two stay with us this weekend and the other two will stay with aunt A.

Opa, I, and the bigs play several games and laugh our heads off. Eventually, it’s bedtime.

Storms pass through the area around midnight. Thunder, lightning, heavy rain and wind wake us up. Aunt A. calls. A tornado is very close and she, Bella and Lily hide in the bathtub. 

Our other daughter calls with the same warning. Before we are even aware, the threat has already passed. All is well and the peace and quiet returns. So does sleep.

All is well that ends well. Praise the Lord!
