Back From Summercamp

June 8, 2024.

After a full week of scout summercamp, Bella and her troop are on the way home. They must have had a great time, seeing how they all cried last night because they didn’t want to leave.

Even though Bella had a good time, there were some issues where her attitude was concerned. Yes, they will be addressed by her mom. Grin.

Bella got to do all kinds of merit badges and other activities. She went for the BSA mile swim badge, but she couldn’t make it. No problem: she tried!

Aunt A., who went as a leader, had an enjoyable time as well, until Thursday evening. She tripped over a guy line and severely twisted her foot.

She spent the Friday at the ER, can’t drive and can’t walk. It was a blessing there were enough people from the troop who could drive her home.

We also know Bella lost some of her gear at camp. That was to be expected. Let’s hope she gained something of more value.
