Cheaper And Safer

Date of occurrence:
August 18, 2025.

Kc has decided to get contact lenses. That turns out not to be as easy as it sounds. The eye exam reveals the pressure in his eyes is too high.

He is prescribed eye drops and has to come back in two weeks to check his eyes again. Two weeks later, the pressure has dropped, but not enough yet. Another round of eye drops later, he finally gets his contacts.

The first couple of days are a disaster.

Kc has trouble getting his contacts in.

The third day it takes him 20 minutes.

He scratches his eye during the process.

The contacts hurt now and he has to take them out.

He didn’t get glasses for back up. His old pair is broken. Now what?

He has to take off from work, go back to the eye glass place, and hope he can get glasses asap. He is blessed. They are ready within a few hours.

Thank goodness for that. His eye has to heal before he can try the contacts again.

It seems to me that glasses are the cheaper and safer option!
