Giving Hugs

Kc is 20 months old.
Little Kc is not much of a kisser. Whenever I ask him to give me a kiss, he graciously turns his cheek towards me and lays it against mine. I am not sure, what's up with that. He may just think that giving a kiss is being too mushy, haha.
He has gotten more in the habit of giving hugs. When he comes in the office, or leaves it, he walks up to us. Hit little arms are reaching out for us and as we bend over, he puts his arms around our neck and lays his face against ours.
It only lasts for a few, but he has made a game out of it. Open the door, say hiiiiii and then comes to give a hug. Go out the door, wave bye, come back, hugs and leaves. This can go on for a little while.
In the evening, at bedtime, he makes the round. Everyone gets a nite-nite hug. We are trying to make that a routine. That way he knows, it's bedtime. But.... even if he would not get that down path, that would be okay.
As long as Opa and Oma get their hugs! :-)
