Leadership

Date of occurrence:
September 23, 2008.
Lil' Kc is almost 20 months old.

Lil' Casey discovered something new. He comes up to me, takes my hand and wants me to come with him. Where to? Where ever his mind is set on.

He did that several times, the other day, and seemed to enjoy doing it. Sometimes, it had a purpose. Sometimes, it seemed just for fun. And one time... he really was being a smarty-pants!

He knows, we don't like him being in the kitchen without supervision. He gets in to everything he can, especially the fridge. When he goes there by himself, we either summon him back, or go and get him. He pushes the envelope though and after several warnings, he got himself in 'time-out'.

He used that well by figuring out a solution. He grabbed my hand, led me to the kitchen and started playing. I could not help but laugh at such wisdom: If I can't go there by myself, you come with me!

Sometimes I wonder, whether he is leading me by the hand, or by the nose, haha.

Audrey,
He is a thinker. You can see it. The way he observes and notices how things are done. It is just incredible.

God's Grace.
