Out Of The Blue

It has been 5 months since we have seen our grandchildren.
Well, it is proven once more that God hears every prayer and works in mysterious ways to answer them.
We heard our youngest daughter had moved again a couple of days ago, to Florida this time and was staying in another rental. She called this morning, telling us we had to take the children. She would not say why, but after several questions she let on that she had to take measures because the boys were not safe and one of them had already gotten in a potentially dangerous situation.
She wants us to keep all of them until December 7th. We don't know what really is going on and why it would take so long to 'secure the environment'. We are grateful our oldest daughter has a few days off for Thanksgiving and is more then happy to take care of Emmy; I could not take care of all three of them at the same time.
It is awful, but we don't really trust her to come and get them at the time she claims she will. We can not even trust she is not going to call the police on us, like she already did before when she claimed we were illegally keeping her mail, which we didn't. In order to prevent all that, we had a document drawn up which states we are keeping the children with her permission and she will pick them up on December 7th.
I wish we didn't have to do all that, but that is the way she forced it. At least we get to see the boys again in a few hours and hold our new granddaughter for the first time. We are looking forward to that; we missed those little critters.
