No Trick Or Treat
Date of occurrence:
October 30, 2009.
Halloween.
There are not many kids living in our neighborhood; it is either a young couple without any babies yet, or older folks like us. Therefore, we did not have any trick or treaters coming to our door this year. Too bad, I enjoy seeing how cute all the kids are dressed up.
We heard through the grapevine that lil' Kc was going to be a soldier this year and that lil' Leo would be an itsy bitsy spider. Emmy does not have to wear a costume. She is a doll already. :-)
They did not go trick or treating either. From what we heard, going out with three youngsters was a huge undertaking which their mom could not handle all by herself.
She had wanted to take them up to a major grocery store where they used to have a trick or treat event for kids. Unfortunately, the store did not this year and the plans went up in thin air. We felt sorry for them, but there is nothing we can do about it.
We do not have any pictures of our little guys this Halloween. That's okay; we know they looked as cute as a button. We are already so thankful that we are able to keep up with them through our oldest daughter. Yeah, God always provides. :-)
