Happy Easter
Date of occurrence:
April 24, 2011.
Since today is Easter, the children came over for dinner and to find all the colorful eggs the Easter bunny has left, scattered all over the yard.
The Easter bunny bought a big bag of those plastic eggs you can pop open, marked them with the grandchildren's names to ensure they all got their equal share and filled them with all kinds of different goodies.
They were found quickly and opened even faster. Little Kc didn't waste any time and sat down on the kitchen floor to check out the presents. Leo and Emmaly decided to take up residency in the hall before doing the same.
Yeah, it did take a little intervention every now and then; both had the tendency to claim the other's treat, but they all had fun and seemed very pleased.
It was a treat for Opa and Oma seeing those happy, little faces and they got another present for Easter as well; after having spent several days at home with his mom, little Kc wanted and was allowed to stay with us.
Yup, it is a Happy Easter!
