Resourceful Rascal
Date of occurrence:
April 13, 2011.
Kc is 4 years and over 2 months old.
Even though the little guy is growing like a weed, he is still a little too small to get to everything. He can turn the faucets on and off to wash his hands and although he is provided with enough to drink during the day, the water coming out of those faucets has a special attraction which seems unreachable.
Yeah, the seemingly unreachable source of fun has met its match in this resourceful rascal. He figured out a way to comfortably get access to this endless supply of water: simply climb on the toilet and lean on the counter.
And that was exactly how I found him when I went to check on him. He was going to wash his hands, because supper was ready. Since it took him so long to come back, I thought I better see what he was up to.
He was so caught up in his activity, he didn't even notice my presence, until he heard the click of the camera. With a rascally smile on his face he said he was washing his hands and taking a sip of water.
"You figured out a way to get to it, huh"?
With an even bigger smile he said: "Yeahhhhh"!
He reminded me of our second oldest daughter, who thought of pulling a chair up to the sink to achieve the same goal. Incredible, how clever those little rascals can be! :-)
