Conquering The World
Date of occurrence:
May 25, 2011.
Emmaly is 1 year and almost 8 months old.
It is incredible how time flies and I suddenly got reminded of that again by looking at our little granddaughter. She certainly is not so little anymore and I am not just talking about her physical state either.
She is growing in to a cute, sweet and determined little girl who loves to explore and is testing the boundaries of her abilities. She sat in the chair on the patio, looking around like a little queen, for a while and then decided she wanted to grow up even faster then she already is.
The best way to do that was standing up in the chair and it didn't take her long to do so. There she stood and being able to see it all from a new perspective brought a huge smile to her face and to ours as well.
Of course we told her to get down, because the possibility of falling was just a little too great, but she did what she sat out to do; she came, she saw and she conquered! :-)
