Making Life Cheaper
This post brought to you by Straight Talk. All opinions are 100% mine.
Our grandsons will be going to a day care next month and I think they will truly enjoy playing with all the other children. It is a big change in their lives, but it will prepare them for school and allows them to develop new friendships and broaden their horizon.
There is no doubt in my mind, once they attend elementary school, they may be carrying a cell phone. I like the idea of them being able to call when needed and it doesn't have to cost an arm and a leg either.
They can already have a phone with camera, mp3 player, mobile web access and blue-tooth capability for $10 and unlimited calling, texting and picture messaging for just $45 a month or $499 for a whole year. I would fall hook, line and sinker for that if I was their mom!
With no contracts, no surprise bills, no credit checks, excellent nationwide coverage and reception/connectivity, 411 calls at no extra costs and no activation, reactivation, or termination fees, you have everything you need.
There is a wide selection of brand name phones available like Motorola, Kyocera, Nokia and Samsung and you can even choose from touch screen phones, app capable phones with voice navigation, camera, video recorder, music player, instant messaging, Bluetooth® and more fancy features.
The kids may need some reassurance at first and might call every chance they get. The “All You Need Plan” covers that with 1,000 minutes, 1,000 texts and 30 MB of web data. They can even call a friend without any restrictions.
Calling grandparents who live in another country is cheap and easy. The rates are low with the flexible prepaid Straight Talk International Long Distance Service and calls can be made from home, school, office, etc.
With all those cheap plans your phone bill would be cut in half. I would use that money to buy the children a nice backpack and cover the rest of the school costs. Life is already expensive enough as is!
