Hot and Cold

Summer 2011.
Yeah, it has been hot practically all summer and there still is no end in sight concerning this heatwave.
Little Kc is not a very happy camper, since he can hardly go outside. It is just too hot and even though we let him play later in the evening when it has cooled off a little, he comes back in after 10 minutes with the statement that it is "too hot ouside".
What to do? A solution was quickly found. We have a sandbox outside without sand and it can function as a tiny pool as well. So, we pulled it in the shade, filled it up with water, robbed the bathroom from its toys and in went the boy.
He had fun and played in it for quite a while until he got out because, as he said, shivering: " I getting cold". Sorry little man; it's a no-win situation, huh?!
