In Training

Date of occurrence:
June 4, 2011.

An uncle of ours stopped by unexpectedly, while little Kc was staying with us.

They got along fine and while Uncle Bill went out to his car to get something, he took the opportunity to hop over to the neighbors who were having a yard sale and came back with this bicycle for our oldest grandson.

That was so sweet and little Kc was thrilled. He could hardly wait until the next day, when Opa was going to assemble it and he would be able to ride it.

Finally, the time had arrived where he could take it outside. He had it down path real quick, but the patio turned out to be rather small to ride fast and far and the yard was too bumpy and the grass didn't budge either.

We decided to take him and his bike to the school nearby. He had a blast and rode around until the sun made it too hot to stay outside much longer.

I wouldn't be surprised if those training wheels come off pretty soon!
