The Cotton Top, Curly Mop

Date of occurrence:
August 6, 2011

Since I was telling you about the nicknames for our grandsons, I thought it was time to refresh your memory as to how our oldest grandson got the name 'Cotton Top, Curly Mop'.

When you take a good look at this picture, you can probably fully understand how he got the name: as soon as his hair is getting a little longer, it curls and sticks out every way after he just got up.

It doesn't stay that way, but lays down after a little while, but the curls keep their shape and the longer it gets, the more curls will appear and it will eventually get to the point where the brush has a difficult time getting through.

Well, by that time a haircut is in order and if we could just convince mom of that fact, we would be in good shape. Grin.
