Good Morning!
Date of occurrence:
July 30, 2011.
You can probably call us early birds, since we are practically always up long before the crack of dawn. The downside of that is that we pass out early in the evening as well, but the upside is that we are already awake when one of our grandsons rises and shines in the morning.
Take little Kc for instance: first we hear the pitter-patter of his little feet on the floor, going from the living room to the kitchen.
There, he pours out the left over beverage in the sink from the glass he brought back from our bedroom, which I normally have on my nightstand and forget.
Once that is done, he comes in to our office space, greets us with a sleepy smile and collects his morning hugs.
This morning however, he grabbed his cap and put it on his head before he entered the office. Upon or question: 'Why', he informed us 'because he wanted to'.
I am not so sure he was fully aware yet of what he was doing; that little face and those eyes still looked awfully sleepy to me. He may need a little more time waking up.
Good morning, little man! :-)
