A Quiet Thanksgiving

Date of occurrence:
November 24, 2016.

Leo and Emmaly came down for Thanksgiving and we had a good dinner planned.

Unfortunately, things don't always go as planned and a stomach bug threw a wrench in the works.

All of them were affected and afflicted with it.

We sure didn't want to catch that virus and dinner was canceled.

Mom still managed to take a photo of the bunch and send it to us.

That was sweet and we were so grateful for it.

A few days later the virus had subsided and we got to see the kids.

Emmaly clearly had been thinking about us and drew pictures for the both of us.

She was excited to hand them to us. We were excited to receive them and that confirmed the following fact.

Each day presents us with something to give thanks for!
