Fireworks

Sometimes we buy a small amount of kid-friendly fireworks for Independence Day. We didn't this year, but they got to see them anyway.

As soon as darkness fell across the land, the show began.

Some gorgeous fireworks in the distance and some from neighbors close by enticed several ohs and ahs as they were watching from the window.

It didn't last very long, but pleased and happy they went off to bed.

And who knows, the fireworks may continue.
