Pone Out

Date of occurrence:
February 27, 2018.

Our youngest daughter, Lily, and Isabella are coming over today and will spend the night. They get here around 2 pm and the girls immediately resort to playing with the doll house.

After a little while their attention turns to electronics. Bell is playing on her tablet and Lily would like to play on the phone. She goes to her Mom to get the device and is back in no time.

Lily, with a frown on her face: "Oma. My pone out."

Me: "What? Your phone is out?"

Lily: "Yeah. My pone out."

The little critter is not happy with that and the dismay is clearly visible on her little face.

It doesn't take much to distract her and focus on something else.

We have a cheerleader pom pom for the girls and they both enjoyed playing with it.

Me: "Lily, look. There is the pom pom. You want to play with it?"
The frown quickly turns into a smile as she picks it up and starts cheering.

A little while later she crawls on the couch next to me, armed with her phone.

Yup, her 'pone' is charged! Grin.
