Father's Day And Birthday
Date of occurrence:
June 16, 2019.
The entire gang will be over today to celebrate Father's Day and our youngest daughter's Birthday.
The children shower Opa with gifts and cards.
And let's not forget all the sweet hugs that come with the presents.
Their Mom has a special gift.
A handmade bouquet of chocolates adorned with cards which say '#1 DAD'. Aww, that is so sweet and thoughtful.
It's her turn now to receive cards, gifts and hugs. She is tickled with all her presents and we bring out the cake and ice cream.
Since we have all the children together, we don't pass up the opportunity to take a picture of them.
That is easier said then done. We have to take several in order to get them all smiling and looking at the camera at the same time.
It still doesn't work out entirely as we envisioned, as you can see. We don't make a big deal out of it though.
It is a treat to have them all here.
That by itself calls for a celebration! :-)
