Holding The Fort
Date of occurrence:
February 22, 2020.
For one of his merit badges, Kc has to visit a historical site. There are lots of those around and we decide to go to the fort. Kc has never been there and it is time we rectify that.
Aunt A., Kc, and I head out. On the way to the fort, Kc does not seem to be very excited. That changes quickly once we enter the fort and start exploring.
He loves it and is impressed.
He can't get enough of the canons.
The latrines baffle him.
He would not want to use those. Grin.
We find the spot where, many years ago, Opa and I caught a ghost in a picture. Kc and aunt A. take several, but the ghost is nowhere to be found.
Eventually, we all get tired and after buying some souvenirs, we go back home.
It was a great day and Kc can finally tell everyone...
