Recognition Ceremony

July 9, 2023.

A recognition ceremony is held this afternoon. It is for all the Eagle Scouts in the district who achieved Eagle from last year August through June 1st this year.

There are 32 Eagle Scouts listed, but only 16 show up. They first are instructed what to do. We have a reception with refreshments and the ceremony starts.

One by one they are called on the podium, shake hands with the district officials and have their picture taken.

When it is all said and done, Kc shows his mom, aunt A. and me what he got. A nice card with a special badge and certificates stating he is an Eagle Scout now.

Well done, bud. On to your Eagle ceremony!
