Scared

June 17, 2023.

Londyn has figured it out. She doesn’t have a phone, but she doesn’t need one. She has Alexa and calls her big brother this morning, who is spending the weekend with us.

Londyn: “Kc, I am scared. I am in the living room all by myself.”

Upon further investigation, she explains Sophia is at Mawmaw’s. All the other kids are gone and mama is still asleep.

She just wants to talk and we do for a bit. I ask her if she wants to be a police woman when she grows up.

Londyn: “No, I want to be a trick or treat woman and give the kids lots of candy!”

Aww, that’s so sweet. That is so Londyn! :-D
