Shooting For Eagle?

October 5, 2023.

Aunt A. and I are picking up Isabella. She is going to her first scout meeting. Since she turns 11 in January, she can not join yet, but she can attend the meetings and go on the camp outs until then.

She is so excited and they teach her the color guard protocol, the square knot and what Bella called the ‘two hitch knot’. She meant the two half hitch and we all laugh about it.

Yes, she says she wants to be an Eagle Scout and do it in less time than her big brother.

Hm, we got a little competition going on here. We tell her it is hard work and she may not like everything, but that doesn’t phase her.

Good. We hope she keeps that excitement and enthusiasm.

I honestly think we have another Eagle Scout in the making! Yay!
