Happy Independence Day

July 4, 2024.

We have both Kc and Leo staying with us. I had expected the boys would want to get some fireworks, but neither one bought some.

Leo doesn’t seem to be interested in it at all. Kc shows some interest, but is quickly turned off by the prices he sees online.

Even if they wanted to get some, we have no transportation. Aunt A. is out of commission for the next several weeks, Kc’s van is at the mechanic, and our youngest (the only driver in the family at the moment) is taking care of aunt A.

It’s not a big deal. As soon as it gets dark, fireworks go off all around us. And…, no takers. The boys rather play on their phones then watch fireworks.

We don’t know how the girls fared, but that is fine. We are almost certain they also had fun. We hope you did too.
