Boy Scout Camp Out
Date of occurrence:
December 3, 2017.
Kc spends an overnighter with the Boy Scouts and has the time of his life. He gets to do a lot of things he hasn't done before yet, like reading a compass and lighting a gas lamp.
He loved the latter. Our little firebug has made lots of fires with a Ferro rod and fused ropes with a lighter, but has never lit a match in his life. He learns how to do that this time and considers it the highlight of the weekend.
They get to tie knots as well.
Kc is already very accomplished in it and even teaches the scout master a knot or two.
He truly enjoys making new friends and is looking forward to joining the Boy Scouts.
He will have to wait for several more months. Patience is a virtue, little man.
And just like his Oma, he can't wait to have it!
